FY12 Dress Distribution #11 - For the disadvantaged children of the city of CDO Philippines

To continue the saga of Dress A Girl Australia's distribution, #11 is for the disadvantaged little girls of the city of Cagayan de Oro Philippines. The parcel containing 104 new and handmade dresses was picked up 8am Sunday morning. But for a very worthwhile cause of providing dresses for 104 disadvantaged little girls, the early morning cold weather was forgotten.  The parcel was going to be delivered to the Ladies of ZONTA International CDO II Chapter who then will be handling the distribution to the different locations in the city.

** Cagayan de Oro is located along the central coast of Northern Mindanao. It is situated in Mindanao, the second giant of the archipelago of all the landmass of the Philippines. It is situated 491 miles (810 air kilometers) south of Metro Manila, an hour and twenty minutes away by plane. Travelling by sea, it is thirty hours from Manila and by land, the city can be reached within forty hours from Manila.
