First Batch of parcels sent to the Philippines today

This is the first of 3 boxes of 6 for Project Philippines (Distribution #94) picked up today and on its way to the Philippines.
The second batch of boxes of 3 will be sent next weekend as soon as I have finished sorting and packing.

New Project deadlines on Distribution #96 and #95 - For everyone's info.

Due to logistics reason and waiting only for a handful of parcels to arrive perhaps by this coming week as advised by the donors, I am moving forward the deadline of dresses for Distribution #96 - Project Philippines c-o Days for Girls MM to the end of this month - May 30th (original deadline is 10th of June). This decision will save me a little on the cost of sending parcels.
The deadline for the Uganda collection (Project #95) will be extended until the end of June to give me more time to save up.  Some of the dresses currently allocated to the Uganda collection will be re-allocated to Distribution #94 - Philippines for school-aged kids to maximize contents of a parcel whose minimum is 20 kilos. Thank you.

Sewing Mojo is back - 10 dresses today (11-May-2015)

Am no different from anyone. Sometimes I lose my mojo to sew. Havent done any sewing at all for over a month and yesterday it suddenly came back. Taking advantage of the opportunity, I made 10 dresses which will be a big help to my current active projects. Six of these dresses will be allocated to Project Vietnam and the rest (four dresses) will be allocated to Project Philippines. I hope to be able to sew more this week in fact I am being ambitious, I am targetting 50 dresses for this week and today is only the second day of the week so if I dont lose that touch again I think I will make it.
Dresses above were made possible by the fabric donations of Millhouse Collections, t-shirts by Sarah Tanmahapran and Joan Wolf. Thank you.
